About Elektra

Internationally renowned duo Elektra was founded 12 years ago, aiming to bring music of every genre to all and to break down any barriers and preconceptions in classical music. Since their first show in 2010, Elektra have toured the world. Their full time schedule of performances have taken them to America, Australia, Africa, Asia and throughout Europe. They captivate audiences, bringing some of the best loved music to life with a high energy and spectacular stage show, combining musical virtuosity with personality, humour and joy.

They have shared the stage and performed alongside legends such as James Taylor and Jools Holland and have both individually and collectively recorded and toured with artists including Liam Gallagher, Bryn Terfel, Andrea Botcelli, Shirley Bassey and many more. They have also made several TV appearances.

Whether playing on the international stage with full big band accompaniment, or sharing an intimate performance in their own community, Elektra’s passion for connecting with their audience is central to every show.

Elektra are in demand as headline entertainers all over the world with their fully choreographed and virtuosic shows. As well as playing for international events, they enjoy a busy schedule as guest entertainers on luxury cruise ships including the iconic Cunard Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, P&O, Silversea, Seabourn and SAGA, where they are accompanied by their full 9-piece band.

Elektra are passionate about community engagement, music education and leveraging the power of music for positive social change. This is central to many of the team’s individual musical careers and is a growing part of Elektra’s portfolio. From running school string days and workshops to performances in hospitals and care homes, Elektra believe music has the unique ability to connect beyond words and really change and enhance lives.

The Elektra team’s diverse and complimentary backgrounds, together with the natural warmth and versatility of the show, make them ideally placed for this work.  As well being international performers in their own right, Elektra’s combined skill set includes a music therapist, global educators and social entrepreneurs.

The Mail

Elektra’s schedule has taken them from performances at the Edinburgh Festival to sold-out concert performances across the UK. They offer audiences a truly unique experience, combining quirky choreography, personality and humour with a natural warmth that connects to audiences of all ages and musical tastes. They are just as much at home performing with their live band or in more intimate venues, as well as major open-air festivals and can adapt their act accordingly.

Yamaha

Elektra have an extensive list of returning corporate clients, from Yamaha, London Press Club, Seabourn, Landrover and many more.

Their corporate engagements take them all over the world and they can promise a completely unique, bespoke experience for any client, with high energy and virtuosic sets. Most recent bookings include performing with Tim Rice and Elaine Paige for the opening of the new Seabourn Ovation in Malta, and they have opened the London Press Club Ball at the Victoria and Albert Museum two years consecutively. 

Sessions

All members of Elektra are also busy session musicians with an extensive portfolio of album recordings and tours between them. Elektra can provide a full string section for remote and live sessions, album launches, tours and much more. Players have recently been booked as part of USO for Liam Gallagher Live on MTV Unplugged, and his latest album, and they have toured as Elektra with artists including Laura Wright. As individuals they have worked with Bastille, Emile Sandé, Michael Bublé, Rudimental and Jools Holland to name a few and have made numerous TV appearances.
